Brief Logo Style Guide

Generally, good logo designs are simple, distinctive, and easy to understand. If you are intending to use your logo for more than just a graphic on a website, you may want to consider:

  • Does it look good in black and white or does it depend on the use of color?
  • Does it look good in smaller sizes?
  • Does it have complex illustrations that would make it difficult to resize or use in certain print applications?
  • Does it use so many colors that the print cost is significantly increased?
  • Are the fonts clear and easy to read?
  • Does it look too much like an existing logo? (BusyBrain does not provide trademarking services, so it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that no trademark issues exist.)
